“A modern take on a farmhouse kitchen” was the brief for this rural home. With a mix of classical features, modern integrations and an earthy colour palette, this time-honoured design was brought into the 21st century whilst keeping its roots steeped in tradition.
The symmetrical layout of the range wall is elegantly supported by two curved corbels providing maximum worktop space, allowing the owner to work with ease while still achieving the desired aesthetics.
Softened with curves where possible, this dynamic design adds a modern twist to this otherwise traditional kitchen, while the island keeps the functionality of the kitchen in line with seating, storage and display. Handpainted with Colourtrends Aged vellum to give that authentic farmhouse finish and complimented with a polished Tigris Sand Quartz worktop by Cosentino, this kitchen benefits from both traditional and modern methods to bring out the best of both worlds.
