Bespoke Cabinetry

The twin bi-fold cabinets flanking the over mantle in our Obsidian Kitchen Dublin offer smart, functional storage, keeping work surfaces clutter free while ensuring the space remains fully usable. Crafted from solid ash and finished in Paint & Paper Library’s “New Black,” each cabinet reveals a beautifully lacquered walnut veneered interior that adds depth and warmth.

Forming one third of the tall bank cabinetry, the bespoke walnut veneered pantry features a quartzite cold shelf and in-frame ash doors, also painted in “New Black.” This combination of texture, tone and natural materials brings a rich, understated luxury to the space.

Grain pattern is often overlooked, but here it becomes a defining feature. The island incorporates bookmatched ash panels, painted to highlight the natural movement of the timber. Designed as the main wash zone, it houses the sink, integrated bins and dishwasher  all aligned for effortless workflow.

Symmetry at the Heart of Our Obsidian Kitchen Dublin

In our opinion, cabinet symmetry is the foundation of great kitchen design and we think it’s beautifully demonstrated in this Dublin kitchen project.
