Packed with detail and technical challenges, the Rower Kitchen Kilkenny project was one of our standout builds of 2025. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed, this space balances classic detailing with carefully considered modern functionality.

The bell-top overmantle and discreet secret pantry entrance are just two of the features that give this kitchen its distinctive wow factor.  Painted in Farrow & Ball Cornforth White, the cabinetry brings a soft, timeless elegance to the room, allowing architectural details and craftsmanship to take centre stage.

While the overall layout is simple and symmetrical, achieving this sense of balance required meticulous planning. The cabinetry had to remain perfectly centred within the kitchen-dining-living space, align precisely with pre-drilled lighting set into the oak beam overhead, and ensure the hidden pantry entrance landed seamlessly within the design. Every element was carefully considered and expertly planned in collaboration with our client, resulting in a kitchen that feels both refined and effortlessly cohesive.

Bespoke Cabinetry

The secret pantry entrance in the Rower Kitchen Kilkenny is seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry, maintaining the clean, symmetrical lines of the design. Discreet top-box style openings positioned above the cabinetry allow light to pass through, subtly illuminating the pantry beyond while preserving the hidden nature of the entrance. This thoughtful detail adds both intrigue and practicality, enhancing the sense of discovery without interrupting the overall flow of the kitchen.

Satin Finishes & Classic Details

Satin cabinetry knobs and cup handles add a subtle layer of refinement to the Rower kitchen, offering a soft, understated finish that complements the painted cabinetry without overpowering it. Paired with a satin swan neck tap, the detailing feels cohesive and thoughtfully balanced, introducing gentle highlights that enhance both function and elegance. Together, these elements bring a timeless, tactile quality to the space, where every detail has been carefully considered.

Elegant Day Pantry Design

The kitchen day pantry is thoughtfully designed to combine generous storage with visual warmth. Painted cabinetry frames open timber shelving, creating a practical yet inviting space for everyday essentials. Integrated lighting highlights the shelving and adds depth, while the balanced layout keeps the pantry both functional and beautifully organised a seamless extension of the kitchen design.

The media unit was designed as part of the Rower Kitchen Kilkenny project to create a seamless sense of continuity throughout the kitchen-dining-living space. Painted to match the kitchen island, it sits comfortably within the living area, complementing the overall scheme without dominating the room.

The media unit display cabinets and integrated storage provide both function and visual balance, while subtle ambient LED lighting introduces a soft, additional layer of illumination. The result is a media unit that feels considered, cohesive, and perfectly at home within the wider design of the Rower Kitchen Kilkenny project.
