A Light-Filled Family Kitchen with Classic Charm – The Waverton Kitchen Co. Kildare
Our clients on the Waverton kitchen Co. Kildare made a bold and brilliant design choice by incorporating an apex ceiling into their kitchen, flooding the space with natural light and creating a bright, open plan living area that feels both spacious and welcoming.
The generous layout means that no matter where you sit, at the island, in the dining area, or window seat by the coffee dock, you remain part of the kitchen’s warm, social atmosphere. It’s a space designed for togetherness, perfect for enjoying time with family and friends.
The kitchen cabinetry, painted in Farrow & Ball Cornforth White, offers a calm, timeless aesthetic that complements the room’s natural light. At its heart is our signature Waverton over mantle, a hugely popular feature that maximises worktop space while maintaining a refined look. The curved corbels offer both support and elegance, providing extra surface area without compromising on design.
A mirror splash back behind the hob reflects the incoming light, enhancing the sense of space and adding a subtle touch of glamour.
The breakfast pantry, also painted in Cornforth White, opens to reveal a luxurious lacquered solid walnut interior complete with spice racks and drawer storage, the perfect blend of style and practicality. Flanking the pantry are integrated larder fridge and freezer units, keeping the layout clean and functional.
The Waverton island is painted in a bespoke colour by Sexton & Sons, adds depth and contrast, and is complete with an integrated wine cooler, perfect for entertaining. Polished brass T-bar handles and coordinating knobs add a final flourish of sophistication, tying the entire look together.
Another standout feature is the bespoke bi-fold coffee dock, with reeded glass panels at the top of each door. When lit from within, this glass detail creates a soft, warm glow that adds character and ambiance to the room.
