Chesterfield Kitchen Waterford

Our Chesterfield kitchen Waterford is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and carefully considered craftsmanship come together to create a truly bespoke space. While the overall aesthetic is timeless and understated, it is the smaller, tailored details that make this kitchen so special.

Within the pantry, hand-carved drawer fronts add a subtle sense of character, complemented by recessed spice shelving designed for both practicality and visual order. Bespoke tray and chopping board storage ensures that every item has its place, maintaining the clean, calm feel of the room.

Integrated LED lighting has been used throughout to softly highlight the cabinetry and enhance the natural warmth of the space, while antique mirror detailing introduces depth and a gentle reflection of light. Traditional plaster coving, carried across all of the cabinetry, reinforces the in-frame construction and creates a seamless connection between the furniture and the architecture of the room.

Panelled Overmantle – Our Chesterfield Kitchen

Sometimes less truly is more.

This stand alone panelled over-mantle from our Chesterfield project is a perfect example of how a single, well-considered piece can completely define a space. Mounted on beautifully shaped curved corbels and paired with break-front cabinetry below, the composition brings balance, symmetry and a quiet sense of presence to the room.

Painted in Colourtrend’s Spinifex, the cabinetry introduces a soft, earthy tone that sits effortlessly within the overall palette of the kitchen.

Subtle brass detailing has been carefully incorporated to catch the light and bring a gentle sparkle to the space, elevating the furniture without overwhelming its simplicity.

Positioned beside the window, the built-in seating area transforms this corner into a calm and inviting retreat, a place to sit with a coffee in the morning, watch the changing light throughout the day, or settle in on a windy afternoon. It is these quieter moments within a kitchen that often become the most cherished.

Island Wash Area – Chesterfield Kitchen, Waterford

The island unit in our Chesterfield project was carefully designed to create a dedicated and highly functional wash area, while maintaining the clean, timeless aesthetic of the space.

At its centre sits an undermounted composite sink, seamlessly paired with the quartz worktop to allow for uninterrupted lines and effortless everyday use. A recessed drainer, precisely cut into the quartz by Elm Fireplaces, provides a practical solution without distracting from the refined surface finish.

Behind the cabinetry are fully integrated bins and dishwasher ensure that all working elements are discreetly hidden.

The soft cabinetry tone is beautifully complemented by the satin brass tap and hardware, introducing warmth and a subtle highlight against the natural light from the surrounding windows.

Framing the Everyday Appliances

This tall cabinetry run from our Chesterfield Kitchen project was designed to house the main working appliances while maintaining the calm, furniture-style aesthetic of the space.

At its centre, side-by-side AEG ovens are perfectly framed within the in-frame cabinetry, positioned at an ergonomic height for everyday use. Alongside, an integrated larder fridge sits discreetly behind bespoke doors, allowing the full elevation to read as a single, balanced piece of handcrafted furniture.

Overhead glazed cabinets introduce an opportunity for soft internal lighting and display, gently breaking up the height of the run while adding depth and warmth to the overall composition. Below, generous drawer storage provides easy access to heavier items and keeps the working kitchen organised and clutter-free.

Viewed from the island, the symmetry of this tall bank creates a strong visual focal point, enhanced by the natural light and the contrast of the brass tap and timber ceiling beam,  a combination that brings both structure and warmth to the room.
